Teamster
Credit Card
HSBC and Teamster have teamed up to launch a credit card exclusively for Teamster members.
It is a card that can be enjoyed by Teamster members and their families. As long as a Teamster member is of legal
age regardless if he’s working or retired, he can apply for a Teamster credit card.
One attractive feature about this card is that it has no annual fees. Interest rate charges also are very low and
reasonable. The card has a strong base, with a current subscriber size of 280,000, made up of active and inactive
workers with the group expecting the membership numbers to grow in the foreseeable future.
Another unique benefit of cardholders is that they can avail of free credit literacy programs and member advocacy
educational seminars. Also, if you’re the type of person who is looking to re-establish or rebuild your credit
standing, the Teamster credit card is the one for you.
Teamster credit card users can also enjoy protection against fraud liability. If your card gets lost or stolen, you
won’t have to pay for unauthorized purchases and transactions. In addition, when you call Teamster credit card’s
customer hotline number, you are guaranteed that the person on the other line who would take your call is an
American. Teamster keeps jobs inside the country and has a strict policy against outsourcing. The group also takes
pride in their friendly and personalized service to cardholders. Also, if you find yourself caught in the middle of
a protracted battle between your company and union, Teamster would look after your needs and would extend you the
group’s strike skip payment program.
The Teamster credit card is open to all adult teamster members, regardless if they’re employed or retired. Members
can also sign up their spouses or children for supplemental cards, so they too can enjoy the features and benefits
of the card. Only adult children living separately from their parents can qualify for supplementary cards. The card
is not available overseas and is exclusive to residents of the US and US territories, such as Guam, Puerto Rico,
and Virgin islands.
The processing of applications is conducted by HSBC and Teamster is in no way involved in any of the assessment
procedures. So the chances of getting approved would depend almost entirely on a member’s credit standing and
history. The better one’s credit score and history is, the higher his/her chances of getting an approval. Being a
Teamster member does not guarantee that one will be approved. Normally, people who pass the criteria of HSBC will
get their Teamster cards in 7-10 days.
If you are a Teamster member, go and grab the Teamster credit card and take advantage of its appealing
features and benefits.
