CFNA Credit Card

Based in Ohio, the Credit First National Association (CFNA) provides personal and commercial financial and banking services to its members.
 

   
Included in these services are co-branded credit cards that are in partnership with major tire and auto repair services such as Bridgestone, Firestone, Plaza Tire and Tires Plus. CFNA actually has 19 different credit cards with 17 major tire companies.

A major feature of CFNA credit cards is the zero annual fee and interest for purchase balances that are paid fully within three months. However, a minimum monthly payment is required depending on the type of card. A CFNA credit card also charges an APR of 22.8%, a minimum finance charge of $1, and penalty fees that include a returned payment fee of $35 and a late payment fee of $15 for new balances below $100, $28 for those between $99 and $301, and $38 for new balances starting from $300.

To apply for a CFNA credit card, you need to be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident. This credit card is also only available to individual credit accounts. For loyal customers of Bridgestone Firestone, they can choose from any of the following: the Best One credit card, any of the Bridgestone Firestone credit cards, the Expert Tire credit card, the Grismer Auto Service credit card, the Hibdon Tires Plus Platinum Select credit card, the Ken Towery credit card, the Plaza Tire credit card, and the Wheel Works Platinum Select credit card. Each CFNA credit card can be used for all major repairs and maintenance procedures from over 5,000 Bridgestone Firestone locations nationwide. Each CFNA credit card can also be used for major tire brands including Bridgestone, Firestone, and Cooper, and for all types of cars.

There is also an available CFNA credit card for loyal customers of other major tire and auto service shops. The Big 10 Tires credit card is accepted at around 100 Big 10 Tires centers, while the Commercial Tire credit card can be used at all Commercial Tire locations. Monro, Gateway, and STS Tire & Auto Center customers can also apply for a CFNA credit card that is accepted at over 500, 44, and 100 locations respectively. Tires Plus loyal customers, on the other hand, can choose from any of the two credit cards available: the Tires Plus Gold Select and the Tires Plus Platinum Select. Each CFNA credit card is accepted at 500 Tires Plus Total Car Care centers all over the United States.

A CFNA credit card with a wide coverage is the Firestone Complete Auto Care credit card which is accepted at around 1500 stores across the country. For CFNA credit card applicants who want the best of both worlds, there is the Grismer Auto Service credit card that is accepted at both Grismer and Firestone Bridgestone stores and the Kost Tire credit card that can be used at 47 Kost locations in New York and Pennsylvania and 5,000 Bridgestone Firestone shops around the country.

Reviews on the CFNA credit card from consumers are not favorable. Those planning to improve their credit with a CFNA credit card are better off with other cards.
