Chevron
Credit Cards
Chevron credit cards are issued by Chevron in partnership with GE Money Bank and allow users to earn points,
rewards and rebates from both their fuel and non-fuel purchases.
Chevron credit cards can be used anywhere around the world in establishments that accept Visa
cards and are not limited only to Chevron and Texaco gas stations. There are four types of Chevron credit cards
namely, the Chevron and Texaco personal credit card, Chevron and Texaco premium credit card, Chevron and Texaco
Visa credit card, and Chevron and Texaco business card.
With the Chevron and Texaco personal credit card, cardholders can sign up for up to 1 year of free road services
including towing, tire service, and fuel delivery. They can also get 10 cents in fuel credits per every gallon
purchase at Chevron and Texaco gas stations for the first 60 days of use. Users are also protected from any
liability arising from unauthorized purchases made on their card.
Chevron premium credit cardholders on the other hand can get up to 50% off on room accommodations in affiliate
hotels. They also receive travel insurance worth $25,000. Similar to the Chevron personal credit card, users can
register for up to one year of complimentary road service such as towing and tire service. Users can also enjoy
rebates of up to 5% for car rentals, lodgings and car rentals made through Chevron’s Travel reservation service.
Cardholders will not be held accountable for unauthorized purchases made on their card.
The perks and benefits of a Chevron and Texaco Visa credit card meanwhile include no annual fees, zero fraud
liability, cash access, 10 cents in fuel credits for every 1 gallon purchase at participating gas stations, 3% in
fuel credits for non-fuel purchases at Chevron and Texaco gas stations, and 1% in fuel credits for purchases made
at other business establishments.
For businesses that operate fleets, there is the Chevron business card. With this credit card, company owners or
managers would be able to effectively budget and monitor the fuel expenses of their company. They could also sign
up their account online, which would give them access to account-related information such as payment history,
credit and invoice information, credit limit and credit balance. From their online accounts they could also make
payments, locate Chevron and Texaco gas stations, cancel, replace and order business cards.
Fuel credits earned on all Chevron credit cards are used or redeemed on the next billing cycle and are
valid for one year. For example, fuel credits accumulated during the month of September will be used for purchases
made during November.
