Best
Cash Rebate Credit Cards
In times like these, having just a credit card is not enough.
You need one that offers the best deals. Of the many incentives and rewards that credit card companies offer, cash
rebates remain one of the most attractive. A lot of credit card companies offer their own version of this credit
card. How do you find one that really gives what it offers? I’ve scoured the net for the best cash rebate
credit cards in the United States and here are the top three that I found. It’s quite calming to see that
sites and blogs share the same opinion on them.
The best cash rebate credit cards I found are: Blue Cash from American Express, Discover More Card, and the Chase
Freedom Visa Card. These three have consistently topped the list of the best cash rebate credit cards from the net
and here are the reasons why.
Blue Cash® from American Express gives the cardholder up to 5% cash back on supermarket, drugstore, and gas station
purchases and up to 1.5% cash back on purchases elsewhere. Its APR ranges from 11.99% to 17.99% and even gives a 0%
APR on new purchases for the first 6 billing cycles. This cash-back credit card gives a 20-day grace period and
charges a zero annual fee. However, to be eligible for one, you’ll need a FICO credit score of at least 707. Of the
best cash rebate credit cards on the list, this is the one that has consistently been on top of reviews.
Reviews on the Discover® More® Card are not far off from those of the AmEx Blue Cash. Aside from the zero annual
fee, this is considered one of the best cash rebate credit cards for the rewards that you can get. It offers up to
5% cash back on purchases that include travel, gas, groceries, and restaurants. It also automatically gives a
maximum of 1% cash back on other purchases. If you wish to receive rewards other than cash, you can exchange your
cash rebates for gift cards from more than 100 brands and stores. As an introductory rate, this credit card gives
0% APR on purchases for the first 6 months. After this, the APR goes back to a variable 13.23%. A FICO score of
around 766 is needed for higher chances of approval for this card.
Rounding up the list of the best cash rebate credit cards out there is the Chase Freedom MasterCard. This card
offers up to 5% cash back on home improvement, gas, and department store purchases and up to 1% cash back on
others. Moreover, it offers additional 20% cash back when you use the card for online purchases from selected
stores. The lowest variable APR for this card is 12.99% with a grace period of 20 days. To be eligible for the
Chase Freedom MasterCard, you will need a FICO score of at least 825.
Who doesn’t want incentives when it comes to credit cards? However, most of the best cash rebate credit
cards require an excellent credit rating. You will need to show financial responsibility and stability to get
your hands on one of them.
