TD
Bank Credit Card
TD Bank, N.A., the American subsidiary of TD Bank in Canada, is the fifteenth biggest bank in the US.
It offers a wide range of financial and insurance services to a total of 14 states including Washington, New York,
Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Like other financial service companies, TD Bank offers credit
cards to its American consumers, two for personal use and one for businesses.
The TD Bank business credit card is the TD Simply Flexible BusinessSM Visa®. This TD Bank credit
card offers a maximum of 21.24% APR to its cardholders. The main feature that they offer is the
opportunity for cardholders to control their monthly interest rate by the percentage of balance payment that they
pay. For TD Bank credit card holders who pay 10% or more of the outstanding balance, they get an initial APR of
5.99% plus the prime. In the next billing cycle, they will receive an APR of 9.24%. For TD Bank credit card holders
who pay 5 to 9.99% of their outstanding balance, they get an APR of 12.99% plus the prime on the first month and a
16.24% APR on the next month. Those who pay at least the minimum monthly payment that is less than 5% of the
outstanding balance will get an initial APR of 17.99% plus the prime on the first month and 21.24% on the
succeeding months. This TD Bank credit card also has no annual fee and even offers a high credit limit for improved
cash flow.
Personal credit cards from TD Bank include the TD Easy Rewards Visa® and the TD Cash Rewards Visa®. The former TD
Bank credit card offers an introductory APR of 0% for the first six months. It also rewards the cardholder 1 point
for every dollar spent on charged purchases. Accumulated points can give TD Bank credit card holders a variety of
rewards like travel tickets, hotel and car rentals, and a wide range of merchandise ranging from gift cards to
electronics. The latter TD Bank credit card gives cardholders 3% cash back earnings on purchases made for the first
six months. For the succeeding months, a 1% cash bank is given and this can be redeemed in increments of $25 or can
be accumulated annually. This TD Bank credit also offers 0% interest for the first six months and has no annual
fee.
Since the TD Simply Flexible BusinessSM Visa® is for corporate accounts; a company will need a fair to excellent
credit card rating. Personal TD bank credit cards also require applicants to have an excellent rating to
get approval. People with bad credit will have a hard time getting approval for a TD Bank credit
card.
